At Meridian, you maintain control over your profile. However, to ensure the integrity of shared group itineraries and financial ledgers, account deletion is not instantaneous. All requests must be submitted securely through the app and are subject to review.

To protect all Meridian users—especially those participating in shared trip expenses—we manually review deletion requests. We reserve the right to reject or halt your deletion request if your account meets any of the following criteria:
If your account deletion is approved and processed, you will simply lose access to the service and your data will be erased. Please note: If your request is rejected due to outstanding financial balances or policy violations, Meridian reserves the right to discard the request without sending a notification. It is your responsibility to ensure all group ledgers are settled before requesting deletion.
Important: Requesting account deletion does not cancel your Meridian Prime subscription. You must manually cancel any active recurring billing directly through your Apple ID or Google Play Account settings to prevent future charges. Meridian cannot refund charges incurred due to uncancelled subscriptions.
Upon approval, your cloud-synced profile and travel data will be permanently erased. However, we reserve the right to retain certain anonymized transaction records or account flags as required by law, to resolve disputes, or to prevent future fraud.
